If you are interested in checking out an estate sale, maybe your best friend recently went to one and got a lot of really great stuff and you want to see if you can’t find some things to spruce up your home. They want their home to look like home and to feel like home but they don’t know how to do that so going to other people’s houses and buying their eye is well worth the money.

If you are not a mall shopper either because you hate the lines, parking and the crowds or because you hate the prices then it makes sense that you might want to look at an alternative to shopping at the malls. Also, a lot of people do not like the lack of originality that the mall has. Everyone at the mall looks the same. You don’t want to walk into other people’s homes and feel like they all have the same furniture and art that you have so it makes sense that you want to check out estate sales to get that original piece of artwork or that original piece of furniture to spruce up your home.

Gyms are expensive, crowded, sweaty. Why not get an arm work out at an auction houses auction? You will definitely lift you arms a lot if you are a competitive bidder. We see auction houses on TV and in movies all the time and while it looks like a lot of fun it also can be a bit daunting if you’ve never gone to one before. There is that whole fear of overbidding or biding high and then not having that person that bids higher and out bids you. Before you throw your arm and pocket book into the ring check out a few auction houses and just be a silent observer until you feel confident enough to lift that arm.
